My laptop installed this update automatically. Immediately afterward, the brightness on my screen jumped from 70% to 100% and STAYED THERE. When I went to adjust the brightness back down, I discovered that the keyboard shortcut is stuck, the energy adjustment settings no longer change the brightness, and the option to roll back the driver (to before the update) is greyed out. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, disabling and re-enabling it, rebooting my computer, running driver updates, Googling solutions. NOTHING works. My screen is stuck at an intolerable 100% brightness, which is giving me a migraine, and I cannot fix it. I wish I could undo the update but it seems impossible! My antivirus does not recognize an issue, but there is clearly something wrong.

Windows 7 Boot BSOD Stop Error 0x0000007B on amdkmpfd.sys and i have no AMD hardware Device installed only Intel Platform and Nvidia GPU ??? Why does Win load this particular system driver anyway ? Maybe some sort of trojan horse/virus trigger this driver in order to crash Windows on Intel platform ???
