Hello there. Just a quick post on the Solution Real adware. It’s a variant of BrowseFox that I’ve written about many times before. If the Solution Real adware is running on your computer, you will see new add-ons called “Solution Real” added into Firefox and Internet Explorer. I’ll show how to remove Solution Real in this blog post with the FreeFixer removal tool.

Solution Real is bundled with other software. Bundled means that it is included in another software’s installer. Here’s how it appeared in the installer:

When I play around with some new bundled software I usually upload it to VirusTotal to see if the anti-virus software there find anything interesting. 48% of the anti-virus scanners detected the file. The Solution Real files are detected as Adware.BrowseFox.AQ by F-Secure, PUP.Optional.SolutionReal.A by Malwarebytes, Artemis!E2850BC2E23D by McAfee, Trojan.Win32.BPlug.dedpsr by NANO-Antivirus and AdWare.Kranet by VBA32.

If you would like to remove Solution Real you can do so with the FreeFixer removal tool. Just select the Solution Real files as shown in the screen captures below. A reboot of your machine may be required to complete the removal.
