this HP prog. stabilize the harddrive if the laptop is dropped and takes a hard fall. Resides in the HP 3D DriveGuard process.
I got one of the error messages noted above. Uninstalled HP 3D Guard Drive. Downloaded latest .exe for W10 from HP Support. It would not install. "not supported for this unit."
Lesson learned: Dont drop your 'puter.
