On those items that are not outright virus, Trojan, Malware, PUP, etc. type files, but are connected to a legit outfits installed product like Adobe, Intel, MS, Autodesk, etc. it would help to know what the intended purpose/function of the files is, and if it is integral to the function of a particular asset, or self-promotion, spam or crapware type tag-along padding inserted into an otherwise legitimate product installation.

I'm seeking to download a new Adobe Acrobat, but to do this, I must remove my old Acrobat. The problem is that Adobe Collaboration Synthesizer 19.12 is open. How can I remove my old Acrobat, please or how can I turn Synthesizer off. please. Alan

@Alan: I have not verified that this works, but you could try to reboot your machine, then start the Windows Task Manager and kill all Adobe Collaboration Synchronizer processes, and then run the Adobe Acrobat uninstaller.

Did that solve the problem?
