DSA service uses more than 90% of cpu usage sometime.... What will happen when I end that task??

DSAService.exe seems to be Intels driver update tool. If you end the task, the current download of updated drivers will fail, but it should be able to proceed next time your restart you machine, or the next time DSAService.exe has been scheduled to run.

My DSAService (CPU time 58:18:43 ) & increasing .I/O read bytes (269,949,710) & increasing. I/O write bytes (8,***,***,***) & increasing continuely, CPU usage mostly 0 with bursts of activities. WiFi off , Running XMedia Recode to convert a bunch of videos in MKV h265 with ogg audio (Reading of USB Drive & writing to C drive. DSAService could be part of Intel's video converter booster?. I suspect it came with the newest Intel Driver & support Assistance or when it downloaded the newest Graphics Card Drivers. On Win8.1 very old I7 laptop with 16gig ram & SSD. I hope this helps!?

I see a lot have had issues with the DSAService.exe for intel driver updates. Do they say there are no problems reported by the service? I stopped using automatic updates and plan them. The last time I had a machine taken down was just after the automatic updates. That machine is still not in service today, the black screen of death? I just got my machine set up to fight NotPetnya and pinksploit, besides block trojans and malicious software and to protect the memory. So the first automatic update was blocked by the NotPetnya set up for my machine. Could there be a correlation? I am not taking any chances I am leaving my memory protection in place.
