completely benign program; it does not even use any CPU unless "Proactive Defrag" is chosen as an option in the user interface. I first encountered this neat utility from the AShampoo WinOptimizer product on which it is bundled. Made by a reputable German company: you should keep it; and if you want effective, very good background defragmentation that uses very little resources, then choose the "Proactive Defrag" option.
