I downloaded this from a kat.ph site using utorrent. It is software I need for school. My friend says the same site worked fine for him. Kaspersky Internet Security automatically quarantines it. When I scanned it with VirusTotal about half the web scanners said it was okay. The other half reported it was MalSign.Generic.256, Adware.Agent.OAU, InstallRex.KG, Trojan.AntiFW!, Win32:Installer-AP[PUP], and others. However the McAfee, Norton, Panda, and Symantec sites all say it is okay.
My opinion is this downloader from the kat.ph site is safe to use.
