Dropboxupdater.exe is, supposedly an app that updates Dropbox. I have only been subjected to its irritating behavior since I, stupidly, acquired a Dropbox account last week.
Dropbox is now owned by Google, is it not? And this horrid file is just like the old gupdate.exe file that I had such a hard time ridding my other computer of. This dropbox version has WinPatrol barking at me every few minutes, asking if I will accept Dropboxupdater.exe changes. If I didn't have WinPatrol installed it would be updating over and over again.
It might not be classified as a virus, but anything that persistent, and that disruptive, I will NOT have on my computer. And there it goes again. #$%&?
