ESSVR.EXE is a very legal s/w and came with the M/B package of Gigabyte.
But always it is connecting to this IP Address (as seen in cmd : netstat -b) -:
TCP PHENOM:3304 d139.x-mailer.de:http CLOSE_WAIT 1860 [ESSVR.EXE]
TCP PHENOM:3305 d139.x-mailer.de:http CLOSE_WAIT 1860 [ESSVR.EXE]
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>ping d139.x-mailer.de
Pinging d139.x-mailer.de [212.162.57.144] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 212.162.57.144: bytes=32 time=255ms TTL=55
Reply from 212.162.57.144: bytes=32 time=254ms TTL=55

Reply from 212.162.57.144: bytes=32 time=252ms TTL=55
My qstn is, why a M/B Monitoring program wants to connect to a German server while all it has to do is optimize home computer only? If I close the above TCP connections, it reopens them.
