LinkHint.exe appeared on my computer DURING the act of installation of Wisecare 365 (Giveawayoftheday Offering 01 January 2013). My firewall reported that this program attempted to connect to the internet several times. When I select DENY, along with "REMEMBER THIS SETTING" option (Zonelabs Zonealarm) tLinkhint.exe still attempted to connect to the internet multiple times (I'm unsure why zonealarm kept notifying me of this event, unless the same program was using a different method each time making the to make this internet Connection. It was necessary to kill this process in order to shutdown this program. SOMETHING TO NOTE: I was monitoring the installation of this program and one place this program leave file in in the USER ASSIST directory System32 Folder. If your curious, do a online search regarding what the purpose of User Assist. Disturbing that a program would leave something there.
