I had discovered that my browser was acting strangely, highlighting words in my browser and turning them into hyperlinks, displaying sketchy advertisements. I thought it was strange since it was not normal for these to appear on Tumblr, or even get past my adblocker! It also displayed popups to sketchy ads when I clicked on some links on reputable websites, including Microsoft's website.

So, I did searching on my computer, and found this thing that was recently installed called "Movie Mode", which is related to the moviemodeservice. I uninstalled it right away since I knew I didn't install it myself. I ended up restoring my browser to its original settings and everything cleared up.

I did a little research on this little bugger. Turns out it installs adware that displays ads through links and popups. I'm posting this to warn others who may have this little issue.
