Same thing happens to me, I can't remove it. No matter what I try. It's almost like it's stuck. Even if I try to remove it, it says that I have to restart my computer and it's not working.

Try Malwarebytes -- free version got rid of all references to santivirus (although it took 2 passes). And no, I am not working for or getting paid by Malwarebytes ;)

@Marco: What does the error message about SAntivirusIC.exe say when you turn off or start your machine?

I've not had the chance to examine this unwanted piece of software myself, so I cannot say for sure that you can remove SAntivirus completely with FreeFixer. I do know that SAntivirus will add itself as a Windows Service and a Kernel Driver. So I would look under "Drivers" and "Services" in FreeFixer's scan result.

You can also do a search for "SAntivirus" using CTRL+f in FreeFixer.

santiviruskd.sys, santivirusclient.exe and SAntivirusService.exe are some additional files used by SAntivirus:

@Everyone_write..: I tried the CPUz download from the official site, but in my case SAntivirus was not bundled with the CPU-z download. Do you remember where you downloaded your copy of CPUz?
