This file came up as a threat when AVG scanned. Its a general behavioural detected threat, infecting the process and file/directory, Severity: Medium. AVG does not have any information about this file. The file came with the software provided with Buffalo external hardrive however the Turbo Burst was an option when installing. So far this hasn't interfered with any windows performance. Unfortunately, after asking AVG to "allow" this file and add it to the exception list, I received a message (from AVG) saying Access is denied.

@Carrie: None of the 43 anti-virus programs at VirusTotal detected TC2Tray.exe, so AVG might be incorrect when flagging the file.

But that scan was made more than one year ago.

Does the anti-virus program detect something if you upload your version of TC2Tray.exe to VirusTotal.com?
