TPCtrlServer turns my computer screen ON even after I turned it OFF! It also UPLOADS data when it should be off. TPCtrlServer goes dormant for 20 or 30 minutes, but when it activates it uses a huge portion of my CPU power and it dominates my wifi when it activates. I have no idea how it got on my computer, but it's scary because it was sending my computer data SOMEWHERE.
Type in STARTUP APPS on your computer search and all your apps will show up. Turn TPCtrlServer OFF. go to TPCtrlServer FILE LOCATION. go to PROPERTIES, then SECURITY. DENY access to SYSTEM. Especially the READ AND EXECUTE option. Go back to file location and delete.
DO NOT DENY ACCESS FOR THE ADMINISTRATOR, that's you. If you DENY yourself access it will be impossible to delete.
After I deleted TPCtrlServer, my computer actually runs much faster now and my computer screen doesn't turn on all by itself anymore and my computer data doesn't get uploaded anymore.
