It is part of an activeX installer from chinese banking sites. It is installed as a service and must be running to access certain chinese banking sites, only viewable in IE. Under windows XP it is known to crash.

I have the same file in my computer running Windows 10 operating system.
I wanted to import something from China and right after I installed Alibaba chat/messenger, things happened!
Greatis UnHackMe insists on it as a Harmful Virus but not any other internet securities.
Of course I do trust in this SMART and POWERFUL software so I prefer to REMOVE TaobaoProtect.exe file.
But when I remove it, it comes back again from nowhere.
I think I have to Remove/Uninstall Alibaba Messenger fully and contact the dealers with online forms.
**((What does this file really doing in our computers? It is NOT even in Alibaba Messenger folder! What is it stealing? Why does it always come back? And many other questions...
Never trust anything from China.
Best,
Kian
