This driver file (TrueSight.sys) is part of the 3-file install package for BitDefender Free. The promo page on BD's site does not say it's BitDefender Free 2009. You only find this out when installing.
RegKey:
HKLM\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES\TrueSight
which points to:
C:\windows\system32\drivers\TrueSight.sys
Size: 14080 bytes
Oddly (or maybe not), it's NOT SIGNED and there's no publisher, product name, description, original name, nor version.
Creation date: [user's install date & time]
(Windows Defender) SpyNet Community Rating: Not Available
Altho this driver is part of the install package for a known software product from a legit & reputable company, I can't help thinking it may be spyware (of some sort) for the benefit of BitDefender, considering that NO info is available for the file, publisher, product/original names, description, nor version. So I decided to NOT install this driver & software app.
The other 2 files (services, actually) are as follows (The default install folder in Program Files is named BitDefender):
C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2009\vsserv.exe
Publisher: BitDefender S. R. L.
Digitally Signed By: NOT SIGNED
Product name: BitDefender 2009

Original name: vsserv.exe
Creation date: 4/6/2009 2:12 PM

C:\Program Files\Common Files\BitDefender\BitDefender Threat Scanner\scan.dll
