This file may be legit it’s located inside brother printer software. Avila reads it as clear reloading my win 10 System mIn and seeing if it returns with the install of the printer.

This file is part of the Brother printer installation package. It loads to the start-up list. AVG does not identify it as a virus. I don't know exactly what it does but I am not experiencing any issues. I will leave it on my system.

I read it was a very bad Trojan/ malware. I also read Brother had issues with being the easiest to hack, allowing the back door to open on my laptop.
I could not delete it from regedit (ctrl + f)
I disabled it with another program
Then set back my laptop back to factory settings. Checked regedit... Not there.
I reinstalled my new Brother printer with the cd and then updated. Not there. The next day I updated again. It's back in my regedit, using "ctrl + f". I'm wondering if it's safe to be there...

I've been trying to work out what it is. there does seem to be a lot of internet chat about it being malware.

TwDsUiLaunch.exe lacks file version, product name, product version, and copyright when accessed via task manager and checked for properties. During an online search of the file, I encountered at least one site out of two containing malware -- this being the second. I have noticed it along with a few others (i.e. DDE Server Window, YouCam Service Window, Secureline Traylcon) preventing the system from shutting down from time to time -- luckily, the system closes within seconds after notification.

I have a solid state hardrive and my computer used to boot up VERY quickly. Lately it takes 8 (eight) minutes and I must unplug and replug in the computer before start up. I went into start up menu to see if I could remove some programs and I found TwDsUiLaunch file is in the start up menu.Should I remove this program? I don't know if I downloaded this program without being aware of it, or how long it has been in my start up menu. If I remove this program and I needed to reinstall would it be possible.

It appears to be needed/enabled on startup for my "Brother" brand printer to function properly
