I am continuously getting popup every 2 minutes regarding "Update manager has stopped working" and I am really frustrated and it irritates me a lot. can you please provide me a solution as to how to solve this error?

@Sanket: UpdateManager.exe comes with the Ask.com toolbar. I assume it can also come with re-branded versions of the ask.com toolbar.

If you don't use the ask.com toolbar, you can uninstall it. That should stop the "Update manager has stopped working" error message.
