I have a Western Digital My Cloud, an external Solid State Drive that backs up designated storage areas via these applications. I have run into a snag. The WD Sync app is using up too many CPU resources bogging my system down. I tried for a quick fix, using Task Manager to kill the process. No luck, even though I have executive privs, and "own" the app.

I guess I will have to go to Western Digital to find a fix.

@Brian: Yeah, it's probably best to ask WD for help in this issue. Important to get the backups done correctly.

Please let us know if you find a solution to the high CPU usage.
