I came to your page because I wanted to know why there was still an AVG program on my computer when I had uninstalled - I thought - all of their programs. I did download your free version but if it works as well as claimed, I will be happy to upgrade to the paid version.

Another interesting thing I noticed that in the same folder referred to
(AVG\Framework\Common\folder) there is another file avgx.exe.
Clicking on this restores missing AVG icon in Task Bar notification area.
