This file is NOT a part of the steam client api, it's used by rld along with a few other dlls to trick games into believing they are being launched from steam, if you have this then you most likely downloaded a pirated game

@Seg: doge.w0w looks like legit file from Valve, based on valid digital Valve signature on the file. I guess the pirates use this legit file to trick the game to start.

Does your copy of doge.w0w also have the Valve signature?
