I have had this file ehRec.exe disabled from my startup for 6 months now with no issues. I feel it is a legitimate program from Microsoft but do not feel it needs to be in the Windows Startup, at least not for my needs. It may be specific for something that I am not using though. Either way, I'm keeping it disabled from Startup. If needed, it can be run manually from Windows after Windows has already been running.
