This process belongs to Hide Folders 2009, made by FSPro Labs. It's safe and needed to avoid malfunctioning of the software.

I agree with Pele and Yanoksy. In my case, it appeared when Mylockbox (free from FSProLabs) was installed, and can be removed by correct (built-in) uninstalling of same software. I guess it's simply part of that program.

Just a thank-you to the three commenters above. This page was MUCH more helpful because of their added input, because the other info did not specify the actual desktop program that FSPro Filter was connected to!

At first I misread it as fsprofit and thought some malware got through. I was prepared to "forcefully" remove it, until I read above it was from Lockbox. Cheers, guys!

I also first read the file as "fsprofit" (vs fsproflt), figured it was some kind of spyware, and was poised to remove it. Had searched and found it both in explorer and in the registry, but something told me to search for some info on it first.
Fortunately found this site, and I had in fact just installed "My Lockbox" software, and will be keeping the file.
