I have an issues with this file hogging my Ram and Disc. I have tried many things to disable it, none worked. Scanned with Malwarebytes not identified. My computer is so slow it is worthless. I have looked for a solution for 2 days.
Please help.

@Joe: The MsMpEng.exe file listed here is part of Windows Defender. It's a legitimate file.

I cannot say for sure about the MsMpEng.exe file on your computer, so I recommend that you upload it to http://www.virustotal.com and have it scanned by the anti-virus programs there.
