All I can get on my broke PC is a black screen w/cursor.I can NOT get anything else it reverts back to black screen.How could I run the program???

@Ronald: I remember users had a problem that manifested itself in the same way. That is, a black screen with a cursor. Nothing more.

It was caused by an important Windows registry value missing, called "UserInit". Here's more info about the issue and a solution that worked back then. Please keep in mind that this was back in 2009.

Its probably much easier to just check if the "UserInit" registry value is missing, by using Remote Registry editing. Here's a short how-to, on Microsoft's web site:
