It does this on one of my Windows 8.1 pro (64) pcs but not three other I have running same software and OS. If anyone has a solution please post.

rpdsvc.exe eats at CUP usage more than 90% after turning on computer for a while and causes computer almost standstill. It is not detected by many antispywares. Uninstall it will solve all trouble.

WHen I end the proccess of this Rpdsvc.exe my pc get back to normal. i just wondering how its start? before not running 100% the cpu. it cause my screen hanging on the sticky rugby..any solution how to avoid it? why its running automatically?

@Maxpain: I think you can configure Real Player not run at startup somewhere in its settings.

It's possible that the 100% CPU problem can be solved by upgrading to the latest version of Real.

If you are not using Real Player, I suggest you uninstall it from the Windows Control Panel.
