Using Win 8.1, I occasionally get a BSOD with the message "system service exception stdriverx.sys". Having read that this file is issued by NCH Software, it is probably installed and used by an audio package (Mixpad or similar) that I have downloaded from the NCH website. I'm not overly concerned and after a power off/reset my system reboots ok.
