c:\progra~2\settin~1\systemk\x64\syskldr.dll is part of the Settings Manager TROJAN. It should be removed, but I do not know how to get rid of it. It appears to be a Windows System killer.

Malwarebytes already got rid of the Program/Trojan file. Now WinPatrol keeps giving me this popup. Most annoying, as it will not delete. Rescanning. *sigh*

@Mary: I have not tested it myself, but I think FreeFixer should be able to delete the syskldr.dll file. Please let us know if you solved the problem.

SOLVED!

Interestingly enough, I accidentally solved the problem with the pop-up trying to install the Malware by leaving my home with my laptop. It was a fluke. I had decided to go to the park to meditate, and the Meditations are on my desktop, so it came with me. I was out of range for a few hours. When I got back home the popups had stopped, and the Malware had given up. lol

Maybe a solution to these programs attempts at installing is to disable your internet for a few hours, and unplug your computer for awhile.

So, c:\progra~2\settin~1\systemk\x64\syskldr.dll, part of the Settings Manager TROJAN trying to re-install. was Solved.

I still have Yahoo Search redirect. It invaded at about the same time as the other programs that tried to install. I got rid of the toolbar, & it is still hijacking my searches.

Yaho hijacked me a few months back. It is not going away this time. *sigh*

Any ideas? Will the "Free Fixer tool" work to get rid of it? Please let me know.

Thank you, and have a great day!

That was the second pop-up that I was receiving. It is gone also.

Thanks!
