Found that some malware scanners do not actually uninstall or remove browseradaptor.exe even though it says so and goes thru the motions.
Also, it can be found or hidden in a folder called "Outobox".
Would be nice to include in your options to be able to locate and delete this specific file using a batch file and DOS commands, to get past the GUI functions and restrictions of Windows.
Also note that while running a malware scan and removal pgm, it kept popping up the same threat notice for such, even though previous action said it was removed.
Did so 53 times, before I finally quit trying and exited program.
And browser being used was Chrome. Not IE.
OS was Win7.
(Not my machine, helping another...)
