CBS Interactive - 6% Detection Rate *

Did you just run into a download or a file on your computer that is digitally signed by CBS Interactive? Some of the security products refers to the detected files as a variant of Win32/CNETInstaller.B and Adware.Downware.130. The detection rate for the CBS Interactive files collected here is 6%. You will probably see CBS Interactive when clicking to run the file. The publisher name shows up as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:

You can view the digital signature details for CBS Interactive with the following steps:

  1. Open up Windows Explorer and locate the CBS Interactive file
  2. Right-click on the file and select Properties
  3. Click the Digital Signatures tab
  4. Click on the View Certificate button
