Christian Hermann Publisher Overview

Did you just run into a download or a file on your computer that has a digital signature from Christian Hermann? If so, please read on.

You will probably notice Christian Hermann when double-clicking to run the file. The publisher name is then displayed as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:

You can view the digital signature details for Christian Hermann with the following steps:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and locate the Christian Hermann file
  2. Right-click the file and select Properties
  3. Click the Digital Signatures tab
  4. Click on the View Certificate button

As you can see in the screenshot above, Windows states that "This digital signature is OK". This implies that the file has been published by Christian Hermann and that the file has not been tampered with.

If you click the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above, you can examine all the details of the certificate, such as when it was issued, who issued the certificate, how long it is valid, etc. You can also view the address for Christian Hermann, such as the street name, city and country.

Sectigo RSA Code Signing CA has issued the Christian Hermann certificates. You can also view the details of the issuer by clicking the View Certificate button shown in the screenshot above.
