Foresight Software - 0% Detection Rate *

Did you just stumble upon a download or a file on your computer that has a digital signature from Foresight Software? If that's the case, please read on.

You will probably see Foresight Software when clicking to run the file. The publisher name shows up as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screenshot shows:

You can view the additional details from the Foresight Software digital signature with the following steps:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and locate the Foresight Software file
  2. Right-click the file and select Properties
  3. Click the Digital Signatures tab
  4. Click on the View Certificate button

As you can see in the screencap above, Windows reports that "This digital signature is OK". This means that the file has been published by Foresight Software and that no one has tampered with the file.

If you click the View Certificate button shown in the screengrab above, you can see all the details of the certificate, such as when it was issued, who issued the certificate, how long it is valid, etc. You can also examine the address for Foresight Software, such as the street name, city and country.
