Intel(R) Energy Checker - 0% Detection Rate *

Did you just download a file that is digitally signed by Intel(R) Energy Checker and wonder if the file is safe? If so, please read on.

You will probably notice Intel(R) Energy Checker when double-clicking to run the file. The publisher name is displayed as the "Verified publisher" in the UAC dialog as the screengrab shows:

You can view the digital signature details for Intel(R) Energy Checker with the following procedure:

  1. Open up Windows Explorer and locate the Intel(R) Energy Checker file
  2. Right-click the file and select Properties
  3. Click on the Digital Signatures tab
  4. Click the View Certificate button
